Stone for testing precious metal fineness using test fluids.

The use of a test stone reduces the possibility of damage to the tested item that can occur when testing metal using the drop method.

An indispensable product for any jewelry shop, pawnbroker's shop, gold purchasing centre, etc.

Instructions for use:

Before first use, the surfaces of the stone should be lubricated using oil or clean olive and then wiped with a clean linen cloth.

Cleaning of the stone is done with charcoal and water. We do not recommend the use of pumice stone, as it damages the stone through abrasion. The fine particles of precious metals abraded from the stone must be collected in order to extract the metals.

A so-called siphon paper should be used to collect excess testing liquid from the stone. 

Please keep such used siphon paper, as the gold used in the production of gold chloride can be recovered from it.
