Rainbow oxide for silver - 160 ml

Colour has always been of great importance in decorative arts. Colour was used to "enliven" jewelry products, highlighting their decorative motifs.

AG-AU Duber produces two dyeing oxides that allow to obtain almost the entire range of colours. One of these is a rainbow oxide for silver.

By using different temperatures, immersion times and preliminary surface preparation (degreasing, etching), you can obtain colours ranging from golden yellow through violet, blue, dark red to dark grey. The longer the immersion time, the darker the colour obtained.

Colour oxides are dyeing products with a short shelf life before use of approximately 6 months. After the first use, their durability decreases even further, especially the rainbow oxide, which requires high temperatures. The amount of oxidised silver and its purity also impact the durability of the oxide after the first immersion.

Basic principle: Heat the two components separately and when they have reached the desired temperature pour them into one container.

The set includes two bottles - with solution 1 and solution 2.
Total bottle capacity: 160 ml.

The formula is prepared in accordance with the literature on electroplating.

NOTE !!! DUE TO THE SPECIFIC NATURE OF THE OPERATION, A SPECIALISED THERMOMETER AND SURFACE PREPARATION CHEMICALS ARE NEEDED TO OBTAIN THE DESIRED RESULTS.
