A) The wipes are designed for cleaning gold, silver, copper and its alloys. Specially impregnated on both sides, the fabric cleans and polishes:

- silver
- plated items
- gold
- copper
- brass

The wipes are easy to use. Simply remove a tissue from the packaging and wipe the jewelry. Any tarnish will remain on the wipe. Once the wipe is fully soiled, it should be discarded.

When wiping off the tarnish, your hands remain dry and clean. The wipes provide a high gloss and noble shine to the cleaned items.

They prevent the recurrence of tarnish for a longer period of time !

B) Argentum is a cleaning fluid for silver, gold, copper and its alloys with a modern formula and an acidic reaction that chemically cleans and polishes by immersion or by rubbing the item with a fluid-moistened cloth moistened.

Reusable fluid. With a plastic basket in the container for easy cleaning of jewelry.

The liquid does not contain abrasives. Ensures a high-gloss finish and fresh appearance of cleaned items. Delays the re-darkening process. Particularly suitable where cleaning with abrasives is impossible, e.g. recesses, or inadvisable.

Simply dip the item in the solution for several seconds or wipe with a damp cloth. The packaging with a wide opening is useful for direct immersion of the item.

The liquid is most effective on silverware. When cleaning gold products, items should be immersed for longer than silver products, i.e. 5-10 minutes.

It has a formulation dedicated to "ligatured" silver, i.e. a silver alloy which, in addition to silver and copper, also contains other metals such as nickel, zinc, etc. Mostly made in Italy.

Applications: silver and gold jewelry, copper and brassware, plateware, cutlery, silver tableware, etc.

ATTENTION! Should not be used to clean organic stones, beads, pearls, etc. Use a given portion of the fluid for one type of metal.

 Directions for the use of jewelry cleaning fluid "Argentum"

• Do not clean jewelry with soft organic stones (beads, pearls, amber, malachite, lapis lazuli).
• Do not clean stainless steel, chrome-plated, nickel-plated jewelry, etc. - may cause discolouration.
• Do not clean gold and silver jewelry together (electrolytic key).
• Use a given portion of the Argentum fluid for only one metal (gold, silver, copper, brass).
• Do not clean artificially oxidised (blackened) jewelry.
• Do not clean in metal or other metal containers. Dish surfaces may be subject to discolouration and cleaned products may change colour.
• In special cases, even different types of silver (despite the same grade) can form an electrolytic key and make the cleaning process more difficult. It is recommended to clean each item separately.
• To reduce the rate of re-blackening, it is recommended to dilute the Argentum fluid with distilled water and extend the cleaning time to about 5 minutes.
• Follow the same procedure for cleaning in an ultrasonic cleaner. The optimum cleaning time in a 1:5 dilution of Argentum is approximately 5 minutes. Cleaning efficiency can be increased by raising the temperature to 30 - 40 ^oC.
• To increase the effectiveness of rinsing, the item can be immersed in 1% ammonia water after cleaning.
• It is also recommended to dip in distilled water at the end of the rinse and then wipe with a soft cloth.
• For resistant stains, multiple shorter dip and rinse cycles are more effective than a single dip for several or even dozens of minutes.
• When cleaning large workpieces with a cloth, where running water cannot be used, the cleaned piece should be wiped several times with a different wet cloth after cleaning to remove the residual Argentum as thoroughly as possible.

Final remark: in case of unsatisfactory cleaning results, use the product again, but first degrease the item, preferably in acetone or other organic solvents.
