Shielding fluid and solder - 500 ml

The soldering fluid acts identically to the German "Fluoron", while the shielding liquid and solder are equivalent to the German "Abdeck".

The soldering and shielding fluid:

- are passive with respect to soldering metals and solder, but dissolve the oxide film with which the metals to be joined and the solder are covered. As a result of this action, they come into contact with each other and completely join the clean metal surfaces.
- they wet the metal surface very well, increasing the flow of solder.
- they protect the joint from harmful effects of the surrounding gases.
- solder residues can be easily removed from the joint surface, e.g. by washing with hot water.

The soldering fluid is used for soldering gold and silver. The shielding fluid protects well the area around the joined silver and gold parts against oxidation and discolouration. They can also be used for soldering.

Bottle capacity: 500 ml.

Chemical composition: The aforementioned substances contain boron compounds, nitrogen, low-boiling organic solvents, surfactants and dyes.

NOTE: After applying the substance to metals, it is recommended to gently heat the joint until the solvents evaporate and form a white layer. The heating intensity can then be increased.
